What is ESD clothing?
ESD clothing protects against electrostatic discharge and is crucial in ESD control zones (EPAs). It uses conductive fibers to dissipate electrostatic charge, prevents voltage differences and ensures operational safety, as well as protection of products and machinery.
Why ESD protection?
Protection against ESD is crucial as electronic components are becoming increasingly sensitive. Undetected ESD damage can lead to significant costs and reputational harm. Therefore, preventing and controlling ESD is of utmost priority in the electronics industry.
How are our ESD fabrics and products made?
For our ESD fabrics, Mimoza relies on compact cotton – a material known for being low-lint, durable and less prone to electrostatic charging. High-quality conductive yarn Ganzgleicht is used to ensure optimal performance.
Production takes place in close cooperation with our long-standing manufacturing partner in Turkey, who is experienced in all stages of textile processing. This setup allows for consistent oversight and quality control throughout the entire production process.
